As Chief Information Security Officer at BKR H/LL, Vance leads the company’s information security strategy, governance, and risk management programs. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry—including over a decade in in-house security leadership roles at financial institutions and several years serving as a virtual CISO—Vance brings a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and the unique challenges facing financial organizations. His leadership combines technical expertise with strong communication skills, ensuring security is not just a safeguard but a strategic enabler of business growth.

At BKR H/LL, Vance oversees compliance with industry-leading frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST. His certifications as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) underscore his expertise in governance, risk, and compliance. By working closely with clients, auditors, and internal teams, he reinforces trust, resilience, and transparency across the organization—helping position Baker Hill as a trusted partner in the financial technology space.

Outside of work, Vance is deeply rooted in family and community. A husband and father, he enjoys coaching his daughter’s softball team and cheering on his son in multiple sports. Staying active himself, he prioritizes fitness and outdoor activities, finding balance and perspective beyond the office. His personal commitment to resilience and teamwork mirrors the values he brings to his professional role every day.
